care and connection in the counseling room

I believe there is hope. I believe that in a safe environment and secure relationship, one can begin the powerful and freeing work of change. As the sole provider at Fields Counseling, I work to provide connection and care in the counseling room so you can feel seen and understood. Your story is unique and valuable. I am committed to walking with you on the path to healing and wholeness.

Audrey Fields, LPC

Before coming to St. Louis for graduate school, I worked  with college students through a religious non-profit in Virginia. My prior educational background was in North Carolina focused on English Literature and Psychology, where the love and care for people’s stories blossomed. I have a great affection for South City and enjoy working in an area rich in diversity of people, culture, food, and beauty.

I love when I get to help clients build an understanding of having a story, the impact of their attachment relationships, and begin building trust in appropriate relationships to risk for deeper connection. Working from an attachment and interpersonal framework with a person-centered focus, I work to integrate various theories and techniques as are needed and helpful for each individual, couple, or family.

I received my Masters of Arts in Counseling in 2021 from Covenant Theological Seminary where I was equipped to work with people of varying life stages and needs.
